Where do you want to go, when do you have time to go and how should you bring along? How is the budget going to look and where should you stay? There is a lot of questions that pops up the moment you start planning. So how to start planning your next adventure? Here comes 10 tips that makes your trip much easier.

1. Search online or contact a travelagency

There´s a lot of travelagencys and companies out there who can help you on your way. First of all, unless you are a grandfather without an smartphone, travelagencys are not the place for you to book your next trip. In exchange for their help, you pay them an extra fee. Use the travelacencys to help you gather information about companies who can offer you a trip to your dream adventure. In that way to save a couple of bucks you can spend at the beach in Puerto Rico.

2. Decide where, when, what and who

Should you bring your best friend, girlfriend or mother? You should choose with person you taking along pretty quickly to make the whole prosess easier. Then you don´t end up wanting to do completely different things when you get there. In addition to that, decide where you want to go (follow tip 1) and when you have the time for it. If you don´t have a child in school and are depending on schoolvacation, take your trip nowhere near the communal vacations. The price is more affordable and it is less turists around.

Bonus tip: Remember to check if you need a visa to visit your destination.

3. Book tickets

This is maybe the place where you can save the most money. As a mentioned in tip 2, the price is much better during off-season. The ability to leave a day before or after is also a big plus. Use search engines to find the best prices. You can also save money by booking plane tickets and hotel at the same time, but be aware and check the hotels website to their price first.

Bonus tip: If the seach engine tells you that it´s one airline that´s the cheapest, search for the exact same flight at their own website. Along with travelagencys, search engines take a share for themselves.

4. Find activities

No one wants to have a boring trip. Whether you are travelling with your mother or a 4 year old kid, plan for some fun. Search for popular cities around your destination, activities of different sorts and special restaurants. Look out for a too tight itinerary and make some space to take the day as it comes.

5. Make a budget

This tip is not only for budgettravellers, it´s also important for familyvacations. If you don´t mind spending $6000 on your vacation without noticing it before you get home, that´s alright. But for you normal people, an all-inclusive could be an option. You have already paid for all expenses before you get there and you end up spending only a minimum of money there. Otherwise, know where the closest supermarked is and buy groceries before you´re hungry.

6. Back light

Nothing is worst then a full bag of cloths when you flying. Shopping is everywhere, and you will probably spend most of the trip in the same shorts and some different tskirts. Therefore, bring less cloths and take another pair of sweaters in your handbag. You never know if you get your suitcase when you land.

Bonus tip: bring blister plasters and a first aid kit in case.

7. Remember all documents

Passport, hotel reservation, plane tickets and other bookings. Bring all the documents in a folder. That makes it so much easier to know that you have all you new.

8. Fun, Forrest, Fun!

To the last and most important tip: remember to have a good time! Take pictures, but remember to see tings trough your own eyes, not only a camera lens. Try new things, this isn´t your mother´s house. Make memories and take chances. This is your one and only shot.
